SUPPORT YOUR ARMC NURSES!
Alpena Regional Medical Center, which serves much of northeastern Michigan, is growing and doing well financially. So why are they trying to force some of registered nurses to take pay cuts of 20 to 50 percent and pay hundreds of dollars more in health care costs?
Under these terms, some nurses won’t be able to make a living. They won’t be able to afford health insurance for themselves or their families. They’ll have no choice but to leave these jobs. That’s not fair to the nurses, and it’s not fair to the patients whose care could suffer without these experienced nurses to take care of them.
So why is the hospital doing this to the community? To put it simply, something’s fishy at ARMC.
